INTRODUCTION
Chicago Steppin' has come to the Portland and Sorrounding Communities.
The Soul Line Dance-Stepping Club promotes and teaches the
Chicago influenced dance form known as Steppin'. Organized by Lee James Of
World Chicago Steppers Association. The Soul Line Dance-Stepping Dance Club, found
its first home at Rountrees Hall Of Fame and Restaurant in Berkeley California,
which had been the starting point for some of the Nations Greatest Entertainers
(I.e. Whispers, Temptations, Bobby Bland, Etta James etc). The next site to come
online was the Glas Kat in San Francisco, CA, Jimmies Entertainment Complex in
Oakland CA and Sheraton Hotel's Poolside Restaurant & Bar In Milpitas CA. The Soul Line Dane-Stepping
Club conducts workshops both in San Francisco and Berkeley, Oakland,
Sacramento where they
hold one of the largest enrollments of all California Chicago Stepping classes.
Additionally, workshops are held around the US and Abroad..
